BLIMP ride to the Tax Office

Preamble:

What would have been a record breaking turnout at Grindstone on the 30th ended up being a strong showing to start the new year.

Warm-O-Rama:

We started out with a quick mosey around the Grindstone Speedway and circled up by the playground for

• SSH
• Hillbillies
• Weedpickers
• Moroccan Nightclubs

The Thang:

After some philosophizing about why the swings are still missing at the playground, YHC decided it would be a good time for some 11s.  We started with 10 pull ups followed by 1 big boi situp on the opposite side of the playground.

After some recovery and a 10-count, the plan was to head over to the parking lot in front of the tax office for the main course.  Instead, the trip over became the main course.  We ended up doing 5 rounds of BLIMPS (it would have been 6 or 7 had Whiz not suggested Burpee Broad jumps in place of standard Burpees).  5 Burpee Broad Jumps, 10 Lunges (Alpha count), 15 Imperial Walkers (on the move), 20 Merkins, 25 Plank Jacks, 30 Squats

We moseyed back to the rock pile behind the flag for 3 rounds of Colt 45s.  YHC spun the cylinder a couple of times for some coupon variety and to keep PAX on their toes.

Balls to the Wall was the perfect way to polish off the morning.  Cookie was kind enough to keep time on his watch while showing us all up standing on 1 arm.  Aye!!

Back to the flag for 3 minutes of Mary.
