I never said it was my bday

Preamble:

I only said something about the number 41 on slack which somebody assumed it was a bday BD. They weren’t wrong but I wasn’t going to confirm it. But Mr. Integrity showed up with the best so it was officially my birthday at Rubicon.

The Thang:

Pick a rock or grab your cinder and circle up. Split into groups of threeish. The groups call an exercise for the others to do and then circle the lot. Nobody was there to play around so some hefty ideas were tossed out. A few of what we saw:

• Colt 45s
• Bonnie Blairs
• Kettlebell swings
• Goblet squats
• Burpee rock jumps
• Vups
• Among others

Back to the flag for a short plank and finish.

COT:

It was great to see such a strong group and some faces that we have been missing. I threw out some randomness this morning but I am not a strong orater so will try it again here:

1. My birthday wish is that each of you reach out with a personal message to someone in F3 that you may not have talked to recently or that is on your mind. Check in and see that their family is good and if there is anything they need.

2. Find that charity or group to support. We should recognize the gravity of what we are seeing and find ways to help and a cause to support.
