Preamble:
This being my second ever Q, my goal was attempt to have enough material to make it all the way to 6:15. Although YHC certainly messed up on several accounts, it appeared fun was had by all. And I did my best impression of a tennis ball I could muster.
During the main portion of the BD Flo led a separate 0.0 BD in the movie theater parking lot starting up after warm-o-rama.
Warm-O-Rama:
We proceeded to warm-up with a fun round of Moroccan night clubs, weed pickers, hillbillies, and side straddle hops.
The Thang:
The name of the game for today was to follow the tennis ball, so the group then did proceed to Mosey over to Medlock crossing parkway with YHC resembling a tennis ball.
We made our way over to Perimeter Church Parking lot and made several fun pit stops in between mosey time.
- First was for a round of mountain climbers, burpees and air chairs
- Second was a round of plank jacks, Chuck Norris merkins, and planks. (including late disclaimer)
- Third was a round of dips, and squats.
We then mosied back over to the Cafe at movie theater for a pit stop of side straddle hops, squats, burpees, and air chairs.
Then, we proceeded behind the Starbuck for a round of 11’s featuring squats and merkins.
From here we did a little mosey to finish up at the move theater lot with a round of 30, 20, 10 Monkey humpers, bonnie blairs, and burpees with in between running to the overhang at Ari and back.
We finished this section with planks leading to shoulder taps and ended back with a round of Mary.
COT:
Thoughts and prayers were offered:
- All the families impacted by the events going on with the conflict right now in Ukraine
- The team rallied around Sugar and some updates he mentioned around a move his family is making soon
- Prayers were offered to those whose friends and family were going through medical issues
Naked-Man Moleskin:
If I had to give myself a grade on my second Q vs my VQ earlier this year, I would say F on the first one and C+ on the second. Although not flawless execution, I really enjoyed this one much more and took much less time in the planning. Looking forward to more in the future. YHC Out!
