Recycled Takes and Fresh Aches

Preamble:

Recycled beatdown this morning- mixed it up slightly.  44 degrees and partly cloudy- beautiful morning at Rubicon.  9 HC’s became 13 PAX.  Rough disclaimer and we’re off.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the parking lot by Alpharetta Rec.  PAX circled up for 15 SSH, 10 Weedpickers, 10 Windmills, 15 Imperial Walkers, & Arm Circles.  Tossed in a round of 21’s with a 10 Mercan penalty.  Valiant effort but after the 3rd round and a flub by the Q we moved on.

The Thang:

Morning Call at the playground, 2 at a time.  All PAX at high plank; 2 step up for 5 pullups counting aloud while the rest of do 5 mercans in-time.

BTTW, Last Man Standing: Hung out at the wall for a bit to get acquainted with the textured bricks.  Some lasted longer than others.  The wall didn’t seem impressed.

Mosey to the rock pile for a medium coupon, then down to the FOD for

Captain Thor done together, counting off the starting number for each round.  1:4 BBSU:American Hammers, followed by 2:8, 3:12… etc to 10:40.

Coupon Dora 1-2-3 consisting of 100 Thrusters, 200 bent rows, and 300 curls.  Mosey back to the flag with -1:45 to spare.

COT:

Several PAX stepped up to fill up the Q sheet over the next couple of weeks- cool to see the leadership and variety.  Looking forward to hearing from Pitstop on his Lighthouse experience- he expressed gratitude for the financial sponsorship from several PAX.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

This group rocks.  I do my hardest work and get the most out of F# when I’m the Q.  I guess that’s kinda the point.  Really grateful for F3 and the encouragement to be a better father, husband, & leader.
