The Guardians ARE out there…

Preamble:

Weather: 45 degrees with not much breeze at all.

A good core pax were there along with some bustling activity as the Guardians of the Galaxy base-camp for filming was in full motion. Breakfast was on the burners, large trucks/campers were moving about. Drax and Nebula may or may not have been spotted getting out of their trailers…..couldn’t get a close enough look b/c it was The Gloom and the pax of F3 Alpha were there to get SWOLE.

Let’s get it!

Warm-O-Rama:

Various exercises such as Imp. Walkers, Toy Soldiers, Squats, Lunges, etc. The pax were warm enough so on to the main event.

The Thang:

Two blocks were needed to start out.

Farmer Carry with two blocks each around the corner to get a good whiff of the bacon…then did some lunges with one block out and back followed by 15 OH Press. R&R the Lunges/OH Press. Then Farmer Carry back to home base…..which coincidentally started down the LF line 🙂

7’s with Murder Bunnies in between that included Blockees/Goblet Squats. Cusak’s were quickly the modification for some instead of the murder bunnies.

Partner up next for the following:

• Back-to-back for side passes with the block x20
• Back-to-back for under the legs/over the shoulder x10 each
• Big Boy’s x20

*Ya had to be there so don’t ask…..

Finished off the on field work with some pull thru’s with the block out and back then 15 Curls….R&R.

Cusak around corner again to see which Guardian we may spot next. Mary in front of lots of moving vehicles (American Hammers, Flutters, Box Cutters and Rosalitas). Back to the cage where blocks were all deposited in their rightful places.

Prayers for safe travels for all the pax going on spring break next week.

Prayers for Choo-Choo’s father in law and his lung problem.

YHC’s job situation and prayers for newly found business.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

While no Guardians were seen in today’s gloom, they are out there men…..and they TOO NEED a little (or possibly a LOT) of F3 in their life.  So come on out to Atlas next Tuesday to see if YOU’LL be the first to challenge Star Lord to a merkin contest…..after all, Quill is “one sandwich away from FAT”!
