The PAX Goes Wild

Preamble:

YHC was fresh of a day of Easter gluttony and desperately needing to get back on the wagon still sluggish from spring break.

Warm-O-Rama:

Merkin mile around the trail going clockwise so we can see without headlamps (totally dark the other direction for some reason…no idea why but it’s a true fact).

grumbles from select PAX about “skipping the warmup-up” etc, etc.

Stop at the bigass parking lot for some SSH, weedpickers, copperhead squats, and copperhead merkins (only got to 70 merkins prior).

more grumbles from select PAX about suckiness, etc, etc…..busting my balls about half-assing the disclaimer, etc, etc.

stop for last 2 rounds of merkins to complete the mile with 100 reps.  more grumbles about doing merkins in active traffic lanes of the AO, etc, etc.

The Thang:

Head up to the sidewalk and line-up in air chair.  3 burpees due for every car that drives by.  If YHC catches anyone cheating on their air chair, 3 wolverines are due.  Just the right amount of traffic to ramp-up the suck factor on this one.

PAX getting lazy at this point so 6 wolverines were paid as punishment.

Thang 2 –

Indian run 11’s from the top of the lot to the around the corner intersection.  diamond merkins and crunchy frogs.  All PAX stay together for the indian run in between each station and the PAX in front sets the pace.

Yet more grumbles from select PAX who is now apologizing to the FNG and promising that “it’s not normally like this”

Finish last round of 10 crunchy frogs at the flag just in time (technically 1 minute late…sorry not sorry)
