Bronze/clay pax?

Preamble:

Sometimes when pax are signed up for a QIC against their knowledge it doesn’t work out so well.  Especially when sick kids are thrown into the mix.  DD couldn’t make it for his voluntold Q so YHC stepped in at the last minute.

Warm-O-Rama:

High knees, butt kickers, shuffle in and out on the way to the place where stuff happens.

The Thang:

Impromptu Iron Pax

After spending time at the gladiator yesterday participating in this week’s iron pax yhc could not get over the uneasy feeling of missing out due to an error in the instructions.  Fortuitously yhc was given an opportunity to redo that experience with the unaware pax of the wreck.

After a quick mosey to the football field the 45 min timer was set and the pax was off:

25 burpees at the goal line

Bear crawl to 25 yd line

25 squats

Left bear crawl to 50

25 merkins

Crawl bear to 25 yd line

25 big boy situps

Right bear crawl to goal line

Rinse and repeat until time

COT:

Praise report for Echo’s family getting to finally return home to Louisiana after Irma repairs.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

• Most pax had to bug out before time was up.  Understandable considering this was largely unplanned.  At least we got the distance correct (25 yards of bear crawl instead of 25 feet like at the gladiator yesterday).  But by the time it was finished yhc felt more like bronze and clay pax than iron ( and that was with calling it 5 mins early).
• Looks like there is still an open q spot for Friday.  Somebody grab it so we don’t have to do something like this again.
