Return of the Emeril Bridge slap

Preamble:

Always wonderful to see our F3 brother Emeril back to visit from Dallas!!  Usually that means we see a larger number of pre runners and those crazy pre-pre runners embarking out at 4:30!

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the traditional warm up location at the bottom of Mt. Kill-a-man-jaro. WMH, WP, SSH, HillBillys, Copperhead squats. Interrupted twice by cars driving through. That never happens, what are these nutballs doing at the park at 5:30am?!

The Thang:

Thang 1 – stayed on the mountain.  There are 4 signs on the right side on the way up.
Run to sign 1,  14 merkins, run back and do 14 plank jacks
Run to sign 2, 14 merkins, run back and do 14 plank jacks
Same thing for sign 3, sign 4, and the top of the hill. 5 rounds, 70 merks, 70 plank jacks

Thang 2: Ran to the big pavilion, lined up at the base of that hill(where the tire flip was at Darth Visor convergence).
5 Burpees at the bottom, Bear crawl the entire way up, 5 Star jumps at the top. Escalate down 1 rep at a time, bear crawling up, running down.

Thang 3; Stayed in Pavilion, using the tables.

Fresh back from BRR, and I can’t wait until next year.  The challenge, the fellowship, the laughing, the foot rubs from Baskins, all was amazing. Those of us that were there shared the experience and talked about taking on challenges. HaHa through out another relay in April.  We may have some big numbers if we continue this conversation.
