Zohan and I like to do the 2%'s Burn the Ships workout at least once a month. Today was the day. Put out the call on Black Ops, but no one else took us up this time
Warm-O-Rama:
We did some stuff. Imperial walker, weedpicker, Moroccan nightclub, toy soldier, mosey to midfield and back.
The Thang:
Out of respect for the paywall, I won't post the exact workout. It was 7 rounds x 7 exercises, each with the sandbag. I went for 60# and Zohan went for #40 as he had the Q right after this.
This was the most challenging Burn the Ships in several months. But if I did it again I would like to amp up the intensity. Taking out the warmup time, we finished in about 35 minutes. I think taking out 30 seconds per round is readily achievable (31.5 minutes).
To round out the hour, we rucked. As we re-entered the park from Fox Rd at 0655, we had to run to get Zohan back to the start in time for his 0700 Q.
