Beatdown Cornhole

Preamble:

A cold rain to keep us in the pavilion.  We made the best of it.

Warm-O-Rama:

  • SSH – 21
  • Weedpickers – 10
  • Moroccan Night Clubs – 10 with an extended stretch
  • Arm Circles
  • SSH – 21 (42 total

The Thang:

FORMAT

  • Q set up a cornhole board and 10 cones
  • Each cone had 3 exercises on them: upper body, core and lower body exercise
  • PAX counted off
  • When a PAX was up, they chose a cone to throw the sandbag from to try and get on the cornhole board
  • If they made it on the board, we performed the exercise.  If they missed, we did a default exercise. If they made it through the hole, we took reps off of the cone exercise
  • 2 rounds per circuit

 

CIRCUIT 1: Upper body

  1. Cone 1 – 10 Merkins
  2. Cone 2 – 10 Diamond Merkins
  3. Cone 3 – 10 Carolina Dry Docks
  4. Cone 4 – 10 Wide Arm Merkins
  5. Cone 5 – 10 Makhtars
  6. Cone 6 – 10 Hand Release Merkins
  7. Cone 7 – Bear Crawls (to the board)
  8. Cone 8 – 10 Coupon Curls
  9. Cone 9 – 10 Kettle bell swings
  10. Cone 10 – Coupon Overhead Press
  11. Default Exercise – 10 Burpees
  • None of us are very good at Cornhole.
  • We did alot of burpees

 

CIRCUIT 2: Core

  1. Cone 1 – 10 American Hammers
  2. Cone 2 – 10 V-Ups
  3. Cone 3 – 10 Plank Shoulder Taps
  4. Cone 4 – 10 Leg Raises
  5. Cone 5 – 20 LBCs
  6. Cone 6 – 10 Reverse Crunches
  7. Cone 7 – Spiderman Crawls (to the board)
  8. Cone 8 – 10 Standing Russian Twists
  9. Cone 9 – 10 Plank Pull throughs
  10. Cone 10 – 10 Pickle Pointers
  11. Default – 10 Mountain Climbers
  • Again, we all suck at Cornhole.  Started getting better though.
  • We did alot of mountain climbers, but not as many burpees

 

CIRCUIT 3: Lower Body

  1. Cone 1 – 10 Squats
  2. Cone 2 – 10 Bonnie Blairs
  3. Cone 3 – 10 Step ups
  4. Cone 4 – 10 Monkey Humpers
  5. Cone 5 – 10 Jump Squats
  6. Cone 6 – 10 Daniel Sons
  7. Cone 7 – Bernies (to the board)
  8. Cone 8 – 10 Coupon Dead Lifts
  9. Cone 9 – 10 Goblet Squats
  10. Cone 10 – 10 Line Jumps
  11. Default – 10 Peter Parkers
  • We’re so bad at cornhole, PAX started standing by the board to guide the bag in
  • We got better this round

 

FINISHER x2

  • Balls to the Wall while 1 PAX at a time did arm raises
  • Spiderman crawl to the board and back
  • the Big Sexy (10 pickle pounders, 10 pickle pointers, 10 monkey humpers)
  • Air Chair holding arms up while 1 PAX at a time did arm raises.

COT:

Prayers for Humperdink’s brother-in-law whose battling cancer.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Was grateful to try something new.  A bit bumpy with some standing around at times, but was fun and kept us working during the rain.

Good to have an easy backup plan for the rain.
