It doesn’t get easier, you get stronger. This carries me through every workout but still I find myself uttering “six is in” on regular occasions. So I formulated a workout that would have no six and keep us moving.
This trial run has shown I have a few areas to modify (Oh yes, we will see this again in a better form) but we all made it through the 40 minute equalizer.
Warmup
A lap around the lot with some forward mosey, side steps, backward mosey and high knees
Followed by 15X SSH, 10 X weed pickers, 15X IW
Thang
Off to the frosty field of dreams.
The goal of the sixless Q is to move all around the field at your own pace and direction while working through timed exercises. When the whistle blows you drop and go to the next item. Each exercise is between one and two minutes where you can focus on form and not quantity. Short rest periods are built in throughout.
Todays board:
Due to some speaker issues we had a late start but made it through almost every item only missing the last line. Full body is covered but abs really got to be the star of the show.
…And so until the 6th of the month falls on another Rubicon day I will rework my algorithm for a bigger better 6less.
