Rain, Cold, 13, 39

Preamble:

Post F3 Christmas party + tons of rain + 35 degrees had me zero excited to Q this morning but just as F3 always does – makes it a whole lot better when you see some fellow Pax ready to get miserable with you.  Weird and random side note – this is the THIRD Friday the 13th I’ve Q’d…

Warm-O-Rama:

We take a mosey to the pavilion next to the football field (somewhat trying to stay dry) where we do

• SSH x13
• Mtn Climbers x13
• Cotton pickers x13

The Thang:

We start getting miserable by doing 13 dips at the pavilion then bear crawling through the parking lot puddles to the building for 13 Donkey Kicks.  We run back then repeat with 26 dips/13 DKs and 39 dips/13 DKs.

From there we head to the football field and get in teams of 3 (more than anything to encourage).  We then did 39 EACH of each of the following:

• Diamond Merkins
• Wide Merkins
• Merkins
• Cherkins (Stn Mtns but touch head to the ground)
• LBCs
• Mtn Climbers
• T-bombs
• Monkey humpers
• Bobby Hurleys
• J-lo’s
• Shoulder Taps
• No Surrenders
• Burpees

We got ALMOST done with burpees before time expired and headed back to the flag.

COT:

Prayers for fellow pax going through multiple situations and others with troubles during the holidays.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I’ve never looked forward to turning 39 more in my life.  Feel as good as I ever have inside and out and credit for the majority goes to this thing we do multiple days a week.  Usually the M and I don’t talk about F3 but last night she said probably 5 or 6 times “what an amazing group of men” and that’s a big deal to me.  Enjoyed it men!
