And just like that, the 2nd Thursday of 2020 was upon us. YHC decided to go a little off script and borrow from a few of the PAX workouts from the past.

With that, we got into. All in cadence and mainly x12 – Imperial Walkers, Baryshnikov’s (10 each leg), Cotton Pickers, Sumo Squats and Peter Parkers.

Mosey to the base of the main drive parking lot hill for…

The Thang:

Fireball’s favorite, the Quarter Pounder. Out and back four times.

• 1st time – to the 2nd sign – run out, 25 merkins – backwards run back
• 2nd time – to the 4th sign – run out, 50 Side Straddle Hops- backwards run back
• 3rd time – to the 6th sign – run out, 75 squats- backwards run back
• 4th time – to the 8th sign – run out, 100 low dollys – backwards run back

Plank for the six!.

Mosey to the pit of pain, grab a stone and take it back up to the benches.

An oldie, but a goody, invoking the memory of Poison. Three sets of rock work: Kettle Bell Swings, Squat Thrusts and Step-Ups

• Set 1 – 20 reps each and then plank for the six, followed by lunge walks up the hill to the crest and mosey back to the benches and plank again
• Set 2 – 15 reps each and then plank for the six, followed by alternating lunge walks and squats up the hill to the crest and mosey back to the benches and plank again
• Set 3 – 10 reps each and then plank for the six, followed by lunge walks up the hill to the crest and mosey back to the benches

Put your walk away and back to the driveway, for two sprints to the crest and mosey off the backside of the hill.

Mosey to the picnic benches for 3 quick sets of x10/IC incline merkins and dips.

Mosey to the parking lot and bear crawl back to the center for COT.

Seles took us out with thoughts towards a healthy 2o2o with lots of camaraderie.
