Hudson Fryar Tribute Beatdown

Preamble:

I saw the tweet about Hudson Fryar, F3 Nomad’s son, last week. I knew I wanted to do the tribute.

Warm-O-Rama:

The Thang:

We moseyed to the coupon pile to take a coupon and moseyed back to the whiteboard that was located on the sidewalk near one end of the soccer fields.

The beatdown was as tweeted – 5 sets of:

8 Hand Release Burpees

21 Upright Rows (hold coupon at waist level and bring to chin, shoulders always higher than elbows)

4 Dan Taylor’s (think of Lt. Dan, squats and lunges 1:4 ratio. Do 1:4, 2:8, 3:12, 4:16, 3:12, 2:8, 1:4)

19 Supermans (while doing a merkin, bring one knee to the elbow. single counts)

15 Outlows (on your 6, feet 6″. Draw a circle with your legs together. 15 left, 15 right)

14 No Surrenders

418m run

Most PAX were somewhere in their 4th round before YHC had to call time, return the coupon and run back to the flag. Stroller led the gazelles with some diamond merkins for the 6 and YHC added some American Hammers.

Tar Hill shared that his friend died about a month ago in a car accident, wife in recovery. They have 3 girls.
