Rainy & Delightful

Preamble:

When planning the BD, the weather looked to be clear and the rain would pass.  And, just like a Major Leaguer who gets a hit 33% of the time, you’re a HOF weather correspondent if you are right about the same.  It was raining pretty good.

Just like any other good PAX, I’m carrying 14 total coupons in my truck at all times and we may need an audible.  So as I back into a space to make it easier to get the coupons out…the rain calms.

But…back to the original BD.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the pull up bars.

Circle up and begin:

Abe Vigodas x 11 (Turbine was so troubled by these, he tried to skip one)

Hillbillies x 10

SSH x 11

Morning Call:

(2 rounds )of 5 Pull-ups while other PAX do 5 Merkins.

The Thang:

Mosey to the ball fields…watch your step soon becomes useless as the field is soaking wet.

Suicides -25 yards out and back, 50 yards out and back (do 50 Merkins at that point) 75 yards out and back, 100 yards out and back (another 50 Merkins).

Mosey to the bottom of the hill and let’s have some more fun…

1. Broadjump/Burpees up the hill.  When you get to the top…50 Shoulder tap Merkins. Run back down the hill.
2. Lunge the hill.  When you to the top…50 Spiderman Merkins.  Run back down the hill.

Ran out of time for the bear crawl up the hill….oh darn.

Ran back to the flag for a quick round of Merry – American Hammers and Baby flutter kicks.

Quiet group today, so some prayers were said, and a lot left unspoken.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

These are Badapples, so weighted vests and hard work were abundant.  The 9 men who showed up today, got sweaty and soaked but never complained…audibly.  Always my privilege to lead.  The Real Woody…out.
