Preamble:

I did *my* part to reduce the regularly high numbers at Rubicon…….. #justsaying

Today provided an interesting exercise in self-discipline.  Would I push myself through my own planned workout without anyone around?  Despite some temptation, the answer is yes, I would.

Warm-O-Rama:

The Thang:

Burpees for every “I get knocked down” of Tubthumping…

Then, mosy to the stadium for

  • 1 round merkin mountain [that’s 48 steps, 24 merkins]
  • 3 rounds plyo stair climbs (2 steps @ once, or modify)
    • followed by a run to the gate and back
  • 1 more round merkin mountain [another 24 merkins]

Then, run to the back of AES for

  • 10 pullups
  • mosy to the other playground
  • 10 more pullups

Then mosy toward “the hill” for 11s–

  • Starting with 1: modified Mucho Lego
    • narrow, standard, and wide squats – hands in the air between each
  • Starting with 10: modified Mucho Chesto
    • narrow, standard and wide merkins – jump between each

And…time!
