Let’s call it Four Corners though it was neither

Preamble:

YHC grabbed the Q last night without having a ready plan. Actually fell asleep while trying to formulate something and kind of concerned I’ll embarrass myself by fartsacking on my own Q a second time. Fortunately my M heard the alarm clock and pushed me out of bed.

In Caney Creek there’s always the risk of being the only one there, especially as Slack was absent of any HCs. Rolled into the parking lot and was super excited to see the NLB car already there! Soon joined by Nacho and Pothole, things were looking brighter. Metaphorically brighter, at least, since it’s a very dark AO and YHC doesn’t have a headlight that works.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey in the parking lot. Circle (or square) for 12 IC each: Copper Head Squats, Hillbilles, Moroccan Night Clubs. No SSH this time. Hope YHC isn’t violating an unofficial core principle of F3.

The Thang:

4 Corners, though we only had 3 and can’t call them corners since its more of a circle.

1st “Corner” is under the stairs, 2nd on top of the stairs, 3rd on the other side of the loop and 4th is back under the stairs.

Each round has the same exercise done in each so called corner, wait for the 6 to start next round.

Round 1) 5 Peter Parkers, alpha count

Round 2) 10 Mahktars

Round 3) 15 Butterfly Situps

Round 4) 20 Jump Squats

Round 5) 25 Merkins

We stopped for a 10 count. YHC tried to encourage the PAX by suggesting to push it so we can make it to the 50 Burpees round. The response was less than enthusiastic. Fortunately YHC timed the workout to make sure that we don’t even get close to such a round.

Round 6) 30 Freddie Mercury

Round 7) 35 LBCs

Round 8) 40 Mountain Climbers alpha count

Before the 7th round YHC called not to wait for the 6 after the LBCs and start right away with the mountain climbers. Nacho Libro was the gazelle, of course, and once he finished his 40 mountain climbers and went out of ear shot YHC audibled to single counts. Not that it did us any good. Nacho was the only one to finish this round on time (and he did all alpha counts). Kudos!!!

COT:

Woodpecker left NLB recently and came back. His family struggles and he as well. He lead the prayer asking for strength and healing.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Very good mumble chatter today. YHC enjoyed the beatdown. It was fun posting downrange but there’s no place like home.
