Preamble:
All kinds of smack talk about music, running and sweating
Warm-O-Rama:
No clue – I wasn’t there
The Thang:
At 5:30 when the Q wasn’t there, it was time for the pax to be tested once again. I have to believe someone from the group gave a disclaimer. Probably Cookie because he’s a big time rules follower. I’m certain his elementary teachers loved him for this quality.
Per strava, the group went to the flag pole behind the pool and circled up. They probably called a warmup that included SSH, Weed Pickers, either Imperial Walkers or Hillbillies, some Mnt Climbers and some arm circles.
Next they went to the baseball fields where they did a catch me if you can with three man teams (one man runs while the other two do partner mercans and then they yell his name and he stops). That could be wrong since YHC wasn’t there but they certainly ran around the northern fields loop twice.
Next they came back to the FOD where Trebek called out some game show questions and men had to run to the base that corresponded to the correct answer. It was about this time, YHC decided to come out of the shadows beaming with pride on how well they did leading.
On to the regularly scheduled program – Pax had a board of pain to work thru that spelled out RUBICON. Exercises included 40 reps of ranger mercans, up downs, Big boys, Imperial walkers, and 25 reps of one legged burpees and No prisoners. run the bases in between but bear crawl from 3rd to home plate
COT:
All kidding aside, Apologies for being late. The great irony is this is YHC’s 6 year anniversary and it was the first time ever oversleeping.
Discussion of up coming 2.0 workout
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Lumbergh offered a TNT discussing the merits of taking your child on a mission trip for connecting in a new way.
Much appreciation for 6 years in the gloom. It never gets old which is amazing. It’s the connections in so many AO’s that keep it fresh. Always finding new ways to get better / accelerate is fun and interesting as well.
