Q in spirit only

Preamble:

At 0400 YHC awoke to a terrible feeling in his stomach.  Things were not looking positive for a Q at jail break.  However, a commitment was made, so with much anxiety I rolled out to the cup to lead what had the potential to be a very interesting run.

Warm-O-Rama:

At Jailbreak there is no warm up, we just send it.  At 0530 Ansel Adams came cruising up to the flag at a brisk pace.  Off in the distance we spotted the head lamp of Emeril and Schneider making their way in.  Based on my morning it was determined that the planned route had little to no bail out opportunities. Therefore Emeril offered to lead a route that had several open bathrooms on it.  I agreed and became the Q in spirit only.

The Thang:

After we picked up stiff arm at the Sawnee Mtn Biscuit Company we completed a nice 4 mile route around east Cumming. The highlight of the run was when YHC excitedly told Stiff Arm I would be eating South African food tonight.  I was then informed that he is Australian and didn’t understand my excitement.  My bad.
