A day in the Park with the Girlfriends

Preamble:

Its been a while since I have been at the Widowmaker due to travels over the last several weeks. So why not come back with a Q for the PAX?

Warm-O-Rama:

As the last PAX was running up at 0700  and 30 seconds, YHC delivered an eloquent yet functional disclaimer, we all grabbed a girlfriend for the morning and off we went.

A short mosey to the upper lot where we did the standard:

• SSH
• Weed Pickers
• Imperial Walkers

The Thang:

After a slow mosey with the girls we arrived at the large soccer lot just past The Widowermaker.

First This:

All exercises with your Girlfriend:

• 5 Burpees
• 25 Curls
• 5 Burpees
• 25 Squats
• 5 Burpees
• 25 Overhead Press
• Run a lap (without your girl)

Round 2:

• 5 Burpees
• 25 single count Lunge
• 5 Burpees
• 25 Kettlebell Swings (Girlfriend Swings?)
• 5 Burpees
• 25 Skull Crushers
• Run a lap

Group C:

• 5 Burpees
• 25 Squats
• 5 Burpees
• 25 Overhead Press
• 5 Burpees
• 25 Bent Rows
• Run a lap

Second Thang:

Catch Me If You Can:

Pair off except for one group had 3. PAX 1 farmer carries both PAX girlfriends while PAX 2 does 20 Merkins and runs to catch up then flapjack. Do this for 2 laps around the parking lot.

Catch Me if You Can Part Deux:

PAX 1 carries the two girlfriends on his shoulders while PAX 2 does  20 Merkins and then runs to catch up. Flapjack. Repeat for two laps.

That Other Thang

The PAX were rolling with everything I could throw at them this morning so one more trick to bring them down: Cusack solo with your girlfriend around the parking lot loop. If you have to put your bag down or if it drops to you head drop for 25 Flutter Kicks with the bag over your head. After the Flutters, back up and continue to Cusack until you complete the loop.

Time to return to the place from which we started. Mosey across the parking lot to the running trail and back to the flag.

Mary

There is something about Mary. Especially on the razor sharp rocks that pretend to be pavement in the Widowmaker parking lot.
