Unveiling the new Storm shovel flag – but first, your punishment sir

Preamble:

Today was the day to come clean and unveil the new Storm Flag. I pulled up to convergence last Saturday, excited to plant the Storm flag, but it wasn’t in the trunk. Checked when I got home, no flag.  Drove to the Halcyon where we meet for The Storm, check with maintenance, inspected the maintenance area, no flag.  So I got to work making a new flag, and apologized to Inseam for losing his original flag.  It was humiliating, and deserving of a self-prescribed punishment. So I got to Storm at 6:15 today and did a parking garage beat down from bottom to top with 120 burpees, 110 mercans and 110 BBSU.  Then I planted the new flag and it was off to the ruck.

The Thang:

Off we rucked to the green way.  Out and back, good pace, good conversation. Great to get acquainted with Decal from F3 Gwinnett who came over to join us.

You can’t do it alone, but how do you determine if someone is trustworthy before asking them to lead with you? You can’t, but you can start with determining if that man is in relational rhythm with Get Right and Live Right.
Stress testing can prove a man worthy of trust and reliance. One who makes it through the rigors…makes it through the CSAUP’s and comes out stronger on the other side.  They will lead with you and hold you accountable. AYE!!
