They’re Comin’ to America (for Bulgarian Burpees and Polish Sausage Pounders)

Preamble:

Our brother Zohan became a citizen this week.  As we welcome him to our great melting pot, YHC thought he’d serve up an homage to those who’ve come to this country from all parts of the globe in search of both a better tomorrow, and a 5:30 am respebeatdown set to cheesy music.

Warm-O-Rama:

Short mosey with karaokes.  SSH, Copperhead Squats, Moroccan Nightclubs, Weedpickers.

The Thang:

An around the world beatdown, TABATA style.  Setup is a circle of 8 cones, each marked with an exercise that pays t-claps to one of the great nationalities that have congealed into ‘Merica.

The PAX choose a starting cone, perform AMRAP for the allotted time, then rotate clockwise.

Round 1 (3 minute TABATA intervals)

Irish Car Bombs (T-Bombs)

Kenyan Sprints (40 yard dash, mosey back)

Israeli Inchworms (Inchworm with Merkin)

Polish Sausage Pounders (Pickle Pounders)

Russian Dips (Dips with alternating leg lifts, Cossack-style)

Turkish Getups (1 handed, flat-on-back to standing)

American Hammers (duh)

Bulgarian Burpees (just burpees)

Round 2:

R&R, but with 1:45 intervals
