Preamble:

Back from my European Tour and fresh off Covid, YHC was ready to get back at it. I learned on my travels that ‘parcheggio’ is Italian for parking and sounds much cooler. Bonus: Google taught me that ‘posteggio’ is a parking lot so maybe more appropriate for the title of this BD… oh well. Today those who posted at the Hooch posteggio did our own tour of the coolest parking lot around.

Warm-O-Rama:

Weekpickers and Windmills while Shower Cap geared up… then we began our tour with a mosey around the Indian restaurant to the back parking lot

  • SSH
  • Copperhead Squats
  • LBACs
  • Mountain Climbers

The Thang:

Next tour stop was the bakery lot where PAX circled up for burpees around the circle. One at a time counter-clockwise while standing PAX performed squats until a count of 75 was reached.

On to the theater for some core soreness, 5 excercises, 10 reps each, 3 rounds:

  • Flutter Kicks (alpha)
  • Freddie Mercurys (alpha)
  • LBCs
  • Reverse LBCs
  • Big Boy Sit Ups

A mosey to the low wall for descending reps of Derkins and alpha Bonnie Blairs, 10 each, 9 each, and so on.

Short mosey to the restaurant that can’t decide whether to be a crab place or a taco place (leaning toward tacos lately). Around the World Mercans were on the menu. 15 reps of each of the 4 flavors.

Coming full-circle the PAX moseyed to the portico, unofficial Shrine of the Balls to the Wall. Briefly delayed by a round of Captain Thor, the PAX partnered up for three rounds of BTTW while the partner performed 25 Smurf Jacks.

A little time remaining so after a recovery walk to the starting position, YHC called an audible for parking lot Suicides. 4 lines plus a bonus to work back down to 1 line. We were back to the flag right on time.

Upcoming events: Cryotherapy 2nd F Thursday, Blood Drive Friday, Hooch hosting NLB beatdown and breakfast Saturday.  Prayers for current and upcoming travel and those working through illnesses.
