This is 40

Preamble:

Bday Q to celebrate my last day in my 30s.  The gray chest hairs are already sprouting, its all downhill from here…

Warm-O-Rama:

After the disclaimer, mosey to the parking lot for some high knees, karaoke, and butt kicks.  Then circled up for some side-straddle hops, imperial walkers, weed pickers, windmills, and arm circles.  I’m old now so the warm-up lasts longer than the actual work out.

The Thang:

Mosey to the rock pile to grab a coupon.  Then line up for suicide-burpees to the first, second, third, and fourth islands with sets of ten each for a total of 40 reps.  Then rifle carry the coupon to the first island, ten curls for the girls, suicide; rifle carry coupon to the second island, 10 girls for the girls, suicide; and so on for 40 reps again.  Then rifle carry back from fourth island to third, 10 skull crushers; and so on for 40 reps until the coupon makes it back to the starting point.

This sounds a lot more complicated than it really was, but I’m an engineer so I tend to include too many details.  Re-group for the last part of the work-out.

Line up for suicide-merkins to the to the first, second, third, and fourth islands sets of ten each for a total of 40 reps.  Then lunge walk the coupon to the first island, ten bentover rows, suicide; lunge walk coupon to the second island, 10 bentover rows, suicide; and so on for 40 reps again.  Then lunge walk back from fourth island to third, 10 big boys; and so on for 40 reps until the coupon makes it back to the starting point.

Return coupon back to the rock pile and mosey back to the main parking lot right on time.  My legs just started killing me writing about all those lunge walks.  Good Lord, what was I thinking?!

-Prayer request for No-See-Um’s friends family that was involved in a serious boating accident.  Praise that nobody was killed after being thrown from the boat.  By God’s grace the youngest, a 1-year old survived by having on a PFD.
