Preamble:

“On this Day…” Penicillin was discovered (1928), tanks were used in combat for the first time (1916), and Charles Darwin reached the Galapagos Island aboard HMS Beagle (1835), and the RAF turned the tide of the Battle of Britain (1940).

All of these pail in comparison to the one event that arguably made the greatest ever school-themed comedy of the 1990’s possible: the opening of the first free public school in the western world (1616).  Education has never been the same since, and Billy Madison can tell you why.

YHC thought this would be a tight one, with 936 total reps!  I was wrong.

Kicked off the original movie soundtrack, hung the agenda on the fence, and we’re off.

Billy Madison: Inspired by Billy Madison’s journey through back through school, this routine involves a running loop and exercise per grade.  Begin with a loop to simulate the grade, followed by an exercise with 12 reps as the exam. This concludes 1st grade. Run the loop again, followed by the 1st grade exercise x 12 reps plus a new exercise x 12 reps. This concludes 2nd grade. Continue with the loop and adding an exercise each time until you’ve completed one loop and exercise combo for each of the 12 grades. Great for mumble chatter and telling of high school victories. Celebrate graduation with snack packs for all!

5th Grade: Lunges- SC
6th Grade: Reverse LBC’s
7th Grade: Caro. Dry Dock

We ran the bases between G1-10, then the whole field for the last few.  We finished almost ten minutes early.

Off to the outfield for some Captain Thor.  YHC called it short when Cookie started hating on the Yellow Jackets… I just couldn’t take it…
