hooch 2023 kick off

Preamble:

With lots of PAX travelled during the holiday season & noticed the Q spot was still opened toward the end of last week, YHC  grabbed the spot. With warmer than normal temperature, YHC was hoping for a good turn out at the 1st BD of 2023 @ the Hooch and was not disappointed :).

Warm-O-Rama:

After disclaimer, we moseyed around the parking lot for Weed Picker, Wind Mills, Toy Soldier, SSH & Michael Phelps.

The Thang:

Thang #1: With the light pole as our center, YHC pointed to the 4 spots in the parking lot as our pain stations.  Pay toll with 3 burpees at the center and 23 reps at each stations.

Round 1: Abs

• LBC
• Crunchy Frogs
• Box Cutters
• Leg Lifts

Round 2: Arms

• Shoulder Taps (AC)
• Diamond Mercans
• Mountain Climber (AC)
• Carolina Dry Dock

Round 3: Legs

• Lunges (AC)
• Copper Head Squat
• Monkey Humper
• Bonnie Blair (AC)

Thang #2: we moseyed to the another side of parking lot next to the empty store, where we performed elevens: Dips & Step Up.

Thang #3: moseyed to parking area in front of the theater for a Modified Jack Webb. One one side we performed  Mercans and moseyed to the sidewalk for the Air Press, all the way to 10.

With a few minutes left, we moseyed back to the flag for some Mary: Gas Pumper, Tempo Mercans, Plank Jack & Lotus’ special (could not remember the name 🙂 ).

COT:

Pray for Boomer’s mentor who passed away last week, specifically for the wife & sons.

Pray for comfort & peace for my aunt as she’s dealing with the lost of her husband.
