Rock Lobster

Preamble:

I tried some new ideas today.  Some were good, one was terrible.  For that I am sorry.  8 PAX rolled early for the pre run.

Warm-O-Rama:

Short Mosey around the parking lot and circled up in the round area next to the big pavilion.  This caused immediate suspicion due to the unusual stop location.  Standard Ssh, and weed pickers.  Then we tried new thing 1 and fail 1.  I read in a book that running in place to the beat of Rock lobster by the B52s would replicate an ideal running cadence.  Que the song, explain the idea and go….. and the complaints began.  It was not fun and I am not sure we got anything but annoyed by it but hey, we tried.

The Thang:

We did a classic string of pearls beat down.  At each stop we completed between 1 and 3 exercises.  We also gave a newer PAX who has not lead a chance to call an exercise and cadence at each stop.  This was a easy way to get a little taste of leading without taking on the entire Q.  We made our way through the park and did some coupon work, hill runs, merkins, lbc, dips, burpees, and squats.
