Preamble:

Today marks 5 years since my first BD, right here at the Hooch.  In honor of that momentous event, I dug up a beatdown from that very week, courtesy of Uncle Scrooge (who couldn’t make it today because he’s ‘distracted’ in Vail).

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey around the parking lot with Bernies, Karaokes, High Knees, butt kickers.  Circle up for SSH, Copperhead Squats, Weed Pickers, Windmills, Moroccan Nightclubs.  Mosey to church parking lot, where we found a mysterious speaker and some suspicious-looking cones.

Before commencing the BD, YHC challenged to PAX to figure out the theme of my playlist.

The Thang:

Scrooge-icides.

Four cones, spaced at three standard parking spaces between.

Start by performing a prescribed set of exercises, then running to first cone, then returning to starting point by way of a prescribed motion.  Perform next set of reps, then proceed to cone 2, etc., through all four cones.

Set 1:

Exercise and rep count: Burpees; 5, 10, 15, 20

Motion: Bernie Sanders

Set 2:

Exercise and rep count: Squats; 10, 15, 20, 25

Motion: Bear Crawl (you knew it was coming)

Set 3:

Exercise and rep count: LBCs; 10, 20, 30, 40

Motion: Broad Jump cones 1 & 2 each set, run cones 3 & 4

Set 4:

Exercise and rep count: Merkins; 5, 10, 15, 20

Motion: Crab Walk cones 1 & 2 each set, run cones 3 & 4

Set 5:

Exercise and rep count: American Hammers; 10, 20, 30, 40

Motion: Lunge Walk

Mosey back to flag for a few min of Mary.  Guy out front had to carry the speaker.
