Invincible Turbine and a Sheep Who Lost HIs Way!

Preamble:

Super Bowl as last night so was a little worried about numbers but as always the men of Crossroads showed up.

Warm-O-Rama:

No running here, we just run.

The Thang:

Tried to keep it simple for the Monday after Super Bowl.  Headed out to Green road and jumped across the street to take a left and then right on Etris for the uphill climb.

For some reason, Turbine, who is usually blinking like a casino in Las Vegas decided not to wear any reflective gear, or headlamp, and played chicken with a few cars on Etris.  Luckily no chickens were harmed in the workout today.

Cut across Rucker and then up Mid-Broadwell back to the finish line.

COT:

COT got cut short today as we realized on of the newer PAX to join us at Crossroads, Huffy (a Norseman PAX) started with the slower group, tried to catch up to the faster guys, and then decided to return back to the slower group, only to miss both and get left in the gloom.

After a few minutes waiting and a quick name-o-rama, three of us decided to jump in our cars to go look for him.  I distinctly remember him saying before we took off, ” I have no idea where we are going, so I will just stay with someone.”  Well that didn’t happen.

Caffey and Hollywood didn’t have any luck after backtracking the route, but luckily HIM Top Hat didn’t give up and came to his rescue and found him over on Wills road near Wills Park (obviously not on the course).

But all is good that ends well and 8 strong made it back.  Leave no man (or sheep) behind.
