Preamble:

After 2 days of Hillseeker work you tend to get punchy and share some fun facts about things.  I learned that there was a healthy love of bacon in our clown car, so what better thing to build a beatdown around…BACON!

The Thang:

The Thang #1

Imagine if you will that the boat launch parking lot is a big skillet, and that you are a piece of bacon.  Easy, I know…but just go with it.  You gotta cook back, and the skillet (parking lot) is well greased (wet) so lots of Mary here:

• Swimmers (stretching out the bacon)
• Backscratchers (sizzling bacon)
• Flutter Kicks (more sizzling bacon)
• X-Factors (bacon curling)

Each corner had 12 reps to recognize the 12 lbs of bacon that a PAX had purchased thus far this year.  And we had to do it twice, b/c it always take a bit longer to cook bacon than I would like.

The Thang #2

We cooked our bacon, now time to eat it!  We decided that you eat 4-6 pieces in a sitting, so that’s how many rounds we did of BACON (more on that below).  We didn’t finish, so we’ll eat the leftovers later.

We had some fun today and it’s good to see everybody be a good sport on my crazy ideas.  I enjoy hearing the groans as the PAX each laid down on the freshly wet parking lot.  Good push out of our comfort zones.
