Name That Tune TV Edition Vol. 2

Preamble:

15 PAX came out to the Premier AO in the Alpha for another round of Name That Tune.  This time we revisited the TV Theme Song edition for Volume II.

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey to the parking lot rock pile to grab a coupon.  Then:

  • SSH
  • Hillbillies
  • Weedpickers
  • Arm Circles/Michael Phelps/Covids

The Thang:

YHC brought out a playlist of 20 TV theme songs for another round of Name That Tune. Due to the length of some songs, the exercises were winner’s choice.

PAX counted off and split up into two teams No-See-Um tried to position himself to end up on Shazam’s team.

Each time a song was played the first PAX to name the correct TV show, assigned an exercise to be performed by the losing team for the duration of the song. Winning PAX could also choose the exercise to be performed by the winning team. If no one could name the tune, all PAX did burpees until someone was able to come up with the correct answer.

We had a variety of exercises, with and without coupons:  Burpees, LBCs, Skullcrushers, Curls, Squats, Rifle Carries …

All songs were answered correctly, except for, I think, one (with only a hint or two every now and then).  Correct answers were pretty evenly distributed. Team 2 started out on fire, but Team 1 definitely came back and held their own.

PAX got through  19 songs with just enough time to deposit coupons and mosey back to the flag for COT, while listening to the Ted Lasso theme.

  • Prayers for Fanny Pack as he navigates transitions at work.
