Preamble:

Well, it turns out to be 6 years since YHC showed up at the Hooch, so it seemed fair to take the Q and dish out a little bit of work to the PAX who showed up to help me celebrate. Wasn’t sure how many would come on this rainy Monday, but the Hooch never disappoints!

Warm-O-Rama:

Quick mosey to try to create some Strava art, and then to the dry overhang for the warmup. Start with 6 each of SSH, WP, IW, tempo merkins, and copperhead squats, then seal claps, overhead claps and arm circles front and back.

The Thang:

This was supposed to be a 4 corners routine, so YHC modified to be an out and back between the movie theater and the overhang. That way, the PAX only got wet from the rain when running between the dry spots. Here’s the deal: start with 6 of an exercise and then go up by 6 each time until 30, and then back down again. Here’s what I remember:

6 burpees
12 flutter kicks (alpha)
18 merkins
24 plank jacks
30 squats
24 LBCs
18 bonnie blairs
12 shoulder taps
6 burpees

Most were sufficiently wet from the rain (or sweat) by that point.

Next we did a ring of fire with monkey humpers, the PAX held the position (ankles) while we took turns doing 10 monkey humpers going all the way around the circle. The original idea was to go around twice, but after one round, we were done.

MoM

Next we did various ab exercises such as box cutters, rosalita, and something else I can’t remember, maybe. Then time was up.

COT:

Prayers for health and travel. Thankful for our blessings.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I am honored to lead this group and for all the great HIM at the Hooch and throughout F3. I have done so many things and made so many great memories with great new friends over the last 6 years. I am so grateful to have made the decision to come to F3, and the decision to stick with it. I can honestly say I am not going anywhere, and looking forward to lots of new experiences and memories to be made. Thanks to you all!
