Windjammer All Star Game

Preamble:

A nice morning was promised and a nice morning was delivered.  66 degrees and lower than normal humidity.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the Dam.  SSH.  Imperial Walkers.  Weed Pickers.  Toy Soldiers.  Arm Circles.  Covids.  Indian Run back to the flag.

The Thang:

Deck of Death Cards.  Divide deck into 2 stacks.  

Winning team of All-Star Game is the pitcher first.  They pull a card from the pile and decide if they’re going to win the hand of WAR or lose.  Other team pulls a card from their pile and WAR ensues.  For example, if Pitcher pulls a K and bets he will win, and other team pulls an Ace.  He loses.  

2 is lowest value card.  Ace is highest value card

All PAX perform exercises from both cards.  If pitcher was correct, all PAX run a short lap.  If wrong, then his team runs a long lap (other team runs short).  Winning pitcher calls Mary while losers run the long lap

Alternate between being the pitcher on each hand.  Repeat until time is called.  Goal is to get thru entire deck of cards in 45 minutes.  

In the event of a tie (WAR).  Then 3 cards are pulled face down and the 4th card is turned over face-up.  Same rules as above apply.  ALL 8 exercises must be completed before running the lap. 

We got through at least 10-12 rounds of WAR while only losing the bet 1 time resulting in a long lap run by the AL PAX.  Good times, nice little sweat worked up for a Wednesday.

Prayers up for our brother Morphine who relocated back to Chicago after dealing with an unfortunate loss in his family and “Pops'” family after his passing.
