Happy BurpeeDay to Script Kiddie aka Bday BD

AO: Starting Line

When: 07/22/2023

QIC: Script Kiddie

PAX (4): Closets closets closets, Hammy, Script Kiddie, Seaman, Hammy DR PAX

Preamble:

With the storms from a few days ago limiting the access of some of the PAX it looked to be very low numbers but TClaps to Seaman for taking the longer trek to get to the AO for a PreRuck, also it was great to have Hammy a DR PAX from Alabama stop by and help me celebrate my BD, and with the fact that is was my BDay and a DR PAX was heading to the AO it could not be just the standard stroll that my Qs tend to be, lol.
Seaman and I pushed out a good preRuck then Closets rolled in and Hammy arrived so numbers were set and not bad at all considering the weather, the vacationing PAX and everything else that happened this week.

Warm-O-Rama:

SSHs
Windmills
weed pickers
Hillbillies
Copperhead squats

The Thang:

Thang1
Wanted to get the 53 count done so I came up with this plan
13 burpees
Run the short lap, to the other side
13 Crunch frogs
Run back to the cut across Bernie Sanders to the other side then finish up by running back to the starting point
Did this 3 times since 13×3=39
Than we did one round of 14 each so
13×3=39+14 totals 53
I chose the path since I was born in Lexington Kentucky home of Keenland and some of the most beautiful rolling hills/horse farms around, and the shape of the back and forth course was similar to a horseshoe
Thang1 was done

Thang2
This was a round of 11s at the stairs
at the bottom
10 J-Los, I let Closets, Closets Closets pick the first exercise
No toll this time just Bear Crawl up the steps and on the landings – This was in honor of my high school mascot the Bearcat ok not the same thing but close enough

1 Happy Jack- 3 SSHs then 2 burpees
Mosey back down to start the next round
We repeated that until time ran out so we got to 7 Happy Jacks and 4 J-Los
Except Hammy who got an extra round in, very impressive- his total burpee count was 125
At that point it was time to call it and mosey back to the flag

We set the example our 2.0s will follow if you have a son, you are the example he will follow, if you have daughters, you will be the model they will look for, we need to strive to do the best we can not perfectly but as they watch us do things and recover from failures/overcome them in different ways we will set the tone for the example or model they will look for or be.
I did not mention it but I do want to encourage men to lean in to each other and the men around us.

And with that a quick prayer and coffee time

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Coffeeteria, as always was a good time, it was great to talk with Hammy and to chat with Closets before he left then hang out a bit longer with Seaman, and have to say Seaman is a great living example of all that F3 is all about a true High Impact Man, for sure!

After that it was time to head out to get my day started, but what an awesome way to start a new year.  I am excited to see what my 53rd trip around the sun will entail and so glad the men of F3 will be part of that journey.
