pinch hitting for the Burn

Preamble:

The Burn has got the Q today.  Wait, where is he?  It’s 5:30am.

Warm-O-Rama:

Windmill x 10

Imperial Walker x 10

Copperhead Mercans x 10

Mountain Climbers x 10

Toy Soldier x 10

The Thang:

Mosey’d down the trail to the baseball field.  At those bleachers, we did the following:

2 rounds:

  • Decline mercans x 10
  • Donkey kicks x 10
  • Step-Ups x 10 (beta)
  • Dips x 10

Mosey’d across the street to the gazebo.  Partnered up.  One partner does a lap around the restaurants, while the other partner does the following exercises (then flap jack):

  • Round 1: 10 step-ups, 10 incline mercans
  • Round 2: 10 American Hammers (alpha), 10 Crunchy frogs

Mosey’d back across the street to the gazebo by the playground: 3 sets

  • 10 Decline mercans
  • 10 step-ups (beta)
  • 10 Dips

Mosey’d back to the parking lot by the flag.  One member of the PAX calls out an exercise of their choice, then runs down the hill, does 3 burpees, and runs back up.  Then another PAX does the same thing.  Here were the exercises called out:

  • Rusty – flutter kicks
  • Tanks – Squats
  • Ollie – V-Ups
  • Chalupa – LBCs
  • Zima – SSH

We lined up in a horizontal line and finished with sprints.  The first person in line would run 50-75% to the first half, then sprint the second half.  When they would start sprinting, they’d yell “go!” and the next person would go.  While we weren’t running, the PAX did the following:

  • Squats
  • Toy Soldier
  • Imperial Walker
