Preamble:
9 HIM gathered in the gloom for a Beeline ruck but there was no Beeline to be found. Apropos of his name, we waited to the last possible second and then did a loop around the park in case he came speeding in. Alas, it was not meant to be.

The Thang:
the ruck was a tour of downtown Dawsonville and much good conversation. YHC reminded everyone that he is not above the law – the law of gravity, that is. I stepped on something and turned my ankle pretty good. Surprising how much faster you go down when carrying 30 lbs on your back. Thanks to Fletch for carrying my ruck the rest of the way and my brothers for hanging with me.

We missed Beeline but had a great morning in the gloom. Appreciate the guys not laughing at my misfortune (at least to my face) and being supportive as I limped back to the flag. The camaraderie and fellowship of HIM keeps us coming back.
I leave you with this acceleration point. Fletch picked up my ruck and the guys hung with me for the mile or so back to the flag after I sprained my ankle. This reminded me that, as a believer, I am called to bear/carry the burdens of my brothers (Galatians 6:2) and my F3 brothers demonstrated this on Wednesday. Thank you my friends.
