Preamble:

YHC arrived prepared to blast The Beatles and kick some butt, not necessarily in that order.

Warm-O-Rama:

We  headed over to the parking lot for SSHs, weed pickers, toy soldiers, arm circles, and COVIDs. Ha-ha didn’t appreciate my random rep counts but that’s just how I roll. We headed back to the flag to pick up our girlfriends and then moseyed to the pavilion.

The Thang:

We wouldn’t need our girlfriends for the first part so we tossed them aside. We did a 10-minute E2MOTM where basically we performed the exercises below within a 2 minute time period and had the remainder to rest. We did 5 rounds:

  • 10 hollow rocks
  • 10 v-ups
  • 10 jump tucks
  • 10 second hollow hold

Then it was on to the main event. If it’s a Cam’s beatdown you know it’s a tabata. We did 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest for 8 rounds of the following exercises, with 30 seconds rest after each exercise.

  1. Bicep Curls
  2. Overhead Press
  3. Calf Raises
  4. Skull Crushers
  5. Upright Rows
  6. Swings

When the bell rang, it was over, some of us understood why they call it a beat down, but we moseyed back to the flag.

As always, a pleasure to lead. Although I promise next time, it’ll be slightly less intense 🙂
