Preamble:
Well, it had been a minute since I took the helm at the OG and my favorite AO. I saw Avis post and opening, and I was not in the mood for 100+ burpees, so I figured the time was now. A good bit of pre-BD banter and it was awesome to see 10 HC’s before the show even began. Even an appearance from the injured NoSeeUm, which was awesome! We started on time and apparently MT thought we were at Nirvana this morning, so he missed an amazing disclaimer but joined the group.Warm-O-Rama:
To the flag pole over by the baseball fields for some warm ups. Thankfully Lumbergh sent a video so I could re-learn how to do the warm up counts. - SSH -Weed pickers -toy soldiers -imperial walkers -COVIDs the plan was to go to the upper concession stand, but we didn’t see NoSeeUm, so we altered to the lower concession stand by the FOD for Thang 1.The Thang:
Thang 1: wall sits and exercise
Partner up. One partner is wall sitting while the other is running to the sign by the playground, doing exercise and coming back to switch. Exercises are as follows:
- 25 Mercans
- 25 LBCs
- 25 dips
- 25 flutter kicks
- 25 shoulder taps
- 25 Freddie mercury
Thang 2: Mosey to field of dreams for four corners. Grabbing a lifting rock on the way. I challenged everyone to push themselves and get a big rock, and everyone showed up!
- 30 curls at home plate and Bear crawl to first base
- 30 plank jacks at first base and bear crawl to second
- 30 Mercans at second base and crab walk to third.
- 30 jlos at third base and crab walk home
- Finish with 30 squats with rock
Thang 3: Circle up with the rocks for a rotating circle
- 30 curls, pass your rock to the right
- 30 overhead presses, pass your rock to the right
- 30 skull crushers/tricep extensions, pass rock to the right
- 30 bent over rows, pass rock to right
- 30 thrusters, pass rock to right
- 30 squats, time to put the rocks back
