Burn the Ships – November Edition

Preamble:

YHC launched Black Ops in Johns Creek a couple months ago, and while I've personally been consistent in doing some challenge workouts I have not advertised them very much. Such a shame to not share the misery. So when Zohan messaged me yesterday to ask about doing the Two Pct's November Burn the Ships workout, it was a welcome push to do it and also put it out to the men of Johns Creek. It was a pleasant surprise to have Darkside and Speedo join us. YHC was glad I prepared a Board of Pain, even if we couldn't really see it.

Warm-O-Rama:

YHC ran 6 miles, but for the sake of the other PAX Zohan led a warmup, all x10:
  • Copperhead squats
  • Willie Mays Hays
  • Arm Circles
  • Hillbillys
  • Mercans (x5)

The Thang:

As the workout is subscribers only, I will reserve the full details. It consisted of 3 1-mile ruck shuffles as well as 3 rounds of exercises. It took us about 50 minutes including warmups. We had great conversation and mumblechatter along the way. It was a good workout, but the other Burn the Ships have been harder.
