Preamble:
YHC had an unexpected pre-sprint when the pooch escaped as he was leaving the house but the PAX headed out on the established route as plannedThe Thang:
Having a late Q proved to be a handicap as the cutoff turns that shortened the route were overlooked by the crew! YHC ran the route backwards planning to run into the group but they were nowhere to be found! Time was running out so time to double back to the flag. Obviously everyone ran a different route. Back to the flag at 0615 and….no one in sight! Circle back to find Mantooth and Cha-Ching coming in on the planned route with others trickling in over the next few minutes! All but one PAX ran the long loop of 5 + miles with some serious hill action! I’ll have to give that dog an extra treat!COT:
