PAX (6): Deep dish, Milli Vanilli, Sparkie, Townie, Walkie Talkie
Preamble:
This Day in History...two major military events for the US occurred on 4/9 (one day before the beatdown, but apparently I had the wrong date for my Q). Lee surrendered to Grant in 1865 to end the Civil War, and tragically, American forces surrendered in the Philippines in 1942. In honor of all of our soldiers, and in preparation for Memorial Day, we would do a modified Murph. Also good for detoxing post-spring break. No surrendering for the PAX in the country club gloom.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey for dam for usual - SSH, weedpickers, copperhead squats, arm circles, covids...
The Thang:
Modified Murph after mentioning historical events - start the workout with a run up to Clubhouse and back, meeting back at boat launch. Then moseyed to pavilion for heart of workout:
Goal - 100 big boys, 200 merkins, 300 squats
Pax completed about 2/3 of the reps (with a little Lita Ford and Ozzy providing some background motivation) before we had to embark on the closing run back to the flag.

Naked-Man Moleskin:
Always appreciate the teamwork and camaraderie in the gloom. Wouldn't be nearly as motivated to do this all on my own.
