For someone who hates burpees and running….

Preamble:

Small numbers with the surprise 50th beatdown for Do-si-do at Rubicon.  Happy Birthday Do-si-do and welcome to the Respect crew!  Happy some Norsemen could help you “celebrate” with a beatdown.

Warm-O-Rama:

Moseyed from the flag to the parking lot where we did some SSH’s, Weedpickers, Hillbillies and Michael Phelps/Covids and arm circles.

The Thang:

We had 4 stations each with a series of exercises: Don’t forget your coupon (10 yard line of football field).  Exercises were curls, bent over rows, shoulder press and skullcrushers. There is nothing more American (at the flag).  Exercises were merkins, decline merkins, diamond merkins and Carolina drydocks. It’s leg day! (Softball field bleachers).  Exercises were squats, step ups, lunges and squat jumps. Burpees (middle of parking lot).  You guessed it, just burpees here. We started with 10 burpees in the middle.  Each Pax then ran to one of the other stations, did 25 reps of one of the exercises then ran back to the burpee station for 10 more burpees.  Onto another station for 25 reps of one exercise then back to the burpees.  And so on, and so on until complete. Wrapped up with 1 minute of Mary led by Knight Rider.  We discovered 1 minute of flutter kicks don’t go by faster if you count faster or watch the clock.

Thanks to TP for being the 6 and sharing his story today. Prayers and praise for Osh Kosh and his family.  His daughter is getting married Friday in Bluffton, SC.  Rain means good luck Osh Kosh! Prayers for all the BRR runners this weekend.  Good luck and have fun!  Sleeping in the van sounds wonderful. Iron Pax starts Thursday.  Workout already posted by Knight Rider.
