Mosey in the parking lot. I wanted a longer run but my shoelaces opened so I cut it short and we circled up. PAX waiting for me to finish the business I should have attended to before we started. SSH, Weed Pickers, Imperial Walkers, Batwings and Tempo Merkins.The Thang:
- Partner Carries - Mosey to the field. YHC explained this is a Group effort. The base is 7s of Absolutions (on the long line) and Burpees (the other long line). 2 modifications - 1) the rep count is doubled, so instead of 6/1, 5/2... we'll be doing 12/2, 10/4... 2) Out of the 8 of us, only 5 can touch the field crossing to the other side, and 3 should be picked up. This means partner carries - one on one, two on one or three on one. Some of the smaller-built PAX looked dismayed at first, but everyone carried and were carried. People kept changing groups to carry solo or as part of a pair/trio. Everyone did an amazing job.
- Lazy Dora - Mosey to the pavilion and partner up. Exercise is just LBCs, 500 reps. One pax does BTTW till failure, then switch. Then Low Plank till failure and switch. Then hold 6" till failure and switch. If needed, go back to the BTTW. YHC called an audible and shortened the rep count to 300 LBCs, to have enough time for the next segment.
- TABATA - 30 seconds work, 10 seconds rest. Cycle 4 times through 3 exercises - Rocky Balboa, Hand Release Derkins and Sumo Squats
