Preamble:
Welcome to the Windjammer or Country Club as the cool kids say around these parts. Thanks to Cookie for reminding YHC that he was on Q or else there’d be some fartsacking going on. So glad YHC showed as 7 other pax were there waiting and ready to get their Friday started right.
F3 is Fitness, Fellowship & Faith.
Five Core Principles of F3:
- Free
- Open to All Men
- Held Outdoors Heat/Cold, Rain/Shine
- Led in a Rotating Fashion with No Training Neccessary.
- Ends in a Circle Of Trust (COT)
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey through the parking lot stopping a couple times for 5 Burpees OYO then on to the Lake overlook spot.
The usual warm-up stuff and ended with some Silent 21’s. Penalties for any mistakes. The first one almost nailed it but one pax was just off so 5 Burpees. The next one was doomed pretty early as Cookie started asking about the US/Canada hockey match the night before…..5 Burpees. The third seemed like it would certainly be the one to get the pax on their merry way…..but if memory serves there were a couple pax with missteps so YHC called it and on we went.
The Thang:
After leaving the lake overlook spot, a quick trip down the hill across the road was called for. Then the pax moseyed to the Sports Complex.
Super 21’s = A pair of exercises called and done 1:1, 2:2, 3:3, etc. The pax broke up the exercise by taking lap between the changes and here’s what the pax did:
- Merkins/Big Boys (1-10)
- Bobby Hurleys/Flutters (11-14)
- Mike Tyson’s/Shoulder Taps (15-17)
- Imperial Walkers/SSH (18-20)
- Burpees/Bonnie Blairs (21)
*YHC’s phone got too cold at this point and died so it was supposed to be Imperial Walkers/OH Claps (18-20)….but instead all YHC could remember was the Imp. Walkers and threw in SSH.
Cut the last set of 21 short and moseyed back to the flag with an AYG for the last 75 yards.
COT:
- Prayers lifted up for the family of Coach Jones from Westminster who is still missing in Lake Oconee boating incident.
- There may have been some other prayers and forgive me if I left some out.
