I think we need a step stool

Preamble:

It had been awhile since YHC led the men of Nirvana and always a good time at the greatest Saturday AO in the land. And today there would be a special surprise for the pax…..more on that later.

A lighter crew as Dosido and Sprocket off doing a CSAUP and Pushback hitting the little white ball around. Nonetheless, 10 pax posted and ready to get after it on a Saturday #ITG.

Warm-O-Rama:

A little mosey over to MHS near the old pull-up bars for the warm-up. The usual stuff along with some of the usual sights (Buckshot’s hair bouncing, Woody’s flatulence, Sweeper’s jokes and Good Mornings).

After the warm-up, YHC took the pax into the trails for a round of Morning Call!! Wait, what….?? How could this be as there’s no pull up bar anymore at Nirvana?

Miller Time followed YHC and did some investigating, but forgot to look up…. where,  there in between two trees was the newly assembled Nirvana Bar. Deep into the woods (well, maybe not that deep), far off the beaten path (okay, only like 15 yards or so off the path)…..there is now a pull-up bar for all to use. There may or may not need to be some sturdification done to it. But there will definitely need to be some make-shift 2×4 step-stools put in!!!

The Thang:

Before heading back to the flag, stopped for 25 Dips, 25 Step-Ups (beta) and 25 Derkins.

Back at the flag, took cinders over the NMS bus loop for the following.

7’s (all in one spot) with a run around island after each exercise. One Burpee buy-in/buy-out!

• Crossover Merkins (Alpha)
• Lunges (Alpha)

Partner-Up (by counting off by 5’s):

Partners would do Murder Bunnies 30 yards out and back while pax at the speaker performed different exercises (SSH, Squats, Merkins, etc)

Back to coupons for a mini-Dora including:

• Drive The Bus x25
• Goblet Squats x50
• American Hammers x75

Got through that quick so everyone did 5 Blockees then back to flag for 2 MOM.

COT:

HAlpha Day (8 PM-7 AM) and Convergence (BD at 7 AM-8 AM following by Coffee/Eats) this coming Friday/Saturday at The Rubicon (the owner of sole position of the greatest AO in the Alpha-land….).

Prayers/Praises:

• Julia – Groundhog’s daughter and eye surgeries.
• YHC’s 2.0/prom.
• Kimberly and comfort for the family.
• Continued prayers for Sarah and recovery (Sweeper).
• Praise for Dennis coming home from hospital (Schnitzel’s neighbor).
• Buckshot’s uncle passed away so prayers for comfort and grieving.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Well, it is always a fun morning at Nirvana like I mentioned earlier. Especially when surprises of any kind are in store (i.e. new Pull-Up bar).

Then it gets even better when an OG of the Alpha just barely misses the grip on the bar and feet go flying up in the air and lands on backside. I’m thinking we have some good options for names for the Nirvana Pull-Up Bar but I’ll take other suggestions….
